He is survived by: his children, Rick Bong, Terri Lowey (David), Debbie Wane (Ousman), Mike Beckwith and Dan Beckwith (Pam); his granddaughters, Emily Capps (Cameron), Christina Eddy (Kevin), Nicole Lowey, Michelle Lowey and Danielle Lowey; his great grandchildren, Anna, Joshua, Marley, Isaiah, Damian, Jada, Katie, Rose, Ender and Everly; his great great grandchild Luna; his siblings, AnnaMae Koeppel, Roger Bong (Cindy), MaryAnn Ring (Gordon), Kenny Bong (Linda) and Harold "Butch" Bong; his cousin Kathy Hockerman (Bud); and his caregivers, Ashley, Jamie, Patti and Dawn Koeppel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (277 E Montello St, Montello, WI 53949). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Heartland Hospice, 2801 Crossroads Drive, Madison, WI 53718.
