It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin Wesley Briggs Jr. of Montello, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin Wesley and Gwendolyn Jean Briggs Sr. (Tisdale); his brothers, Gerry and James Briggs; his brothers-in-law, Terry Kuhn and Fred Werla; and his nephews, Fred Werla Jr. and Mike Stofflet.
He is survived by : his children, Ervin Briggs III (Angela) of Plano, IL, Westly Briggs, Timothy Briggs of Wyocena and KC Briggs (Jonathan Paula) of Appleton; his daughter-in-law Ashley Alexander (Marcus Pete) of Montello; his grandchildren, Cory of Florida, Conner, Madisyn and Hunter Briggs of Montello; his great grandchild Mia; his siblings, Vicki Werla of Grand Prairie, Loha Kuhn of Pardeeville, Holly Wolfgram (Boyd) of Pardeeville, Kristi Schmitz (Glenn) of Westfield and Marty Briggs (Kim) of Pardeeville; and his sister-in-law Laurie Briggs of Dalton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other near relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital Research.
