It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Wojtysiak of Montello, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hejl and Anna Hejl (Zelasko); her siblings, Norbert Hejl, George Hejl, Joseph Hejl and Lorrayne Keefe; and her granddaughter-in-law Sasha Arntzen.
She is survived by: her daughter Gerianne "Gerri" Arntzen-Greer (Larry Greer) of Amboy, IL; her grandchildren, John Arntzen of Garland, TX, Joseph Arntzen of Freeport, IL and Jamie Arntzen of Dekalb, IL; and her sister Barbara Wojciechowski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (277 E Montello St, Montello, WI 53949). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
