With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Klapper of Montello, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Klapper and Eleanor Klapper (Kurkowski); his wife Sandra Walters of Patrick's Catholic Church; his grandson Sean Klapper; his son-in-law Darrell Buchholz; and his siblings, Duane Klapper, Alice Imme and Joyce Hagen.
He is survived by: his children, Bob, Dennis (Becky) of Montello, Debra Buchholz of Montello, Daniel (Andrea) of Montello and Dina Schultz (Nathan) of Montello; his grandchildren, Connor (Emily), Emma (Joe), Matt (Tasha), Michelle, Aaron, Jesse, Tiffany and Sophie (Spencer); and his great grandchildren, Deacon, Lennon, Dekker, Charlotte, Avery and Daisy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert's name may be directed to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello or Budda Box of Marquette County.
