He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hefty and Jean Hefty. He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Jenny), David (Debbie), Kathy Zantow (Bob), Anne Sieber (Phil), Peggy Becker (Don) and Lorie Schaalma (Shaun); and his stepmother Sadie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (7302 Mineral Point Rd, Madison, WI 53717).
