He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. Studer and Mathilda Studer (Lisser); his wife Nancy; his parents-in-law, Earl and Myrtle Feldt; his brothers-in-law, Robert Meier and Greg Anderson; and his nephews-in-law, Jimmy Ritschard and Tim Bruns.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Shavlik (Mike) of Cascade, WI and Alan Studer (Brenda) of Monroe; his grandchild Cameron Studer (Kristin) of Sun Prairie; his great grandchildren, Nora and Sophie; his grandchildren, Danton Studer of Sun Prairie and Evan Studer (Sage Langhus) of Monroe; his siblings, Barbara Meier of Monticello, Virginia Daubert (Armin) of Monticello, Susan Anderson of Monroe and Lee Studer (Diane) of Monticello; and his sister-in-law Donna Durtschi (Robert) of Monticello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his multiple farm cats.
Memorials are suggested to the Green County Humane Society in Art's name.
