He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Genz (Mundt); his aunt Dorene Mundt; and his pets, Charlie and Sam. He is survived by: his father Nielan Genz of Jefferson; his siblings, Paul Genz (Dawn) of Windsor, Ruth Affeld (Dennis) of Juneau and Rebecca Blodgett (Robert) of Monticello; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Genz (Jyssica), Sean Affeld, Megan Banegas (Travis), Elizabeth Affeld and Lindsay Affeld; and his great-niece Caroline Genz. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Camp BASIC and Jesus Cares in Watertown.
