He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Durtschi and Lorene Durtschi; his parents-in-law, Earl and Myrtle Feldt; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Studer, Art Studer and Edmundo Aquino; and his special buddies, Ed Riese and Ralph Schuler.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Feldt; his daughters, Patti Rufener (Paul), Lynne Erb (Tom) and Jill Klossner (David); his grandchildren, Kirsten VanAsten (Troy Holloway), Derek Hendrickson (Kaitlyn), Jaime Morrow (Sterling), Courtney Komisarek (Andy), Casey Klossner (Samantha), Karlie Klossner and Claire Klossner (Alex Ryser); his stepgrandchildren, Casey Rufener (Heather) and Andy Rufener (Shanna); his great grandchildren, Jack, Ivy VanAsten, Walter, Robert Hendrickson, Finlay, Eli, Oliver Komisarek and Hazel Klossner; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carson, Dylan Rufener and Rylee Disch; and his sisters, Nancy Aquino and Sharon Knobel (Phil). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends and cousins.
