He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Charlie Pinkepank; and his grandfathers, Herman Groshek (Helen) and John Romanowski (Alice). He is survived by: his parents, Wayne Groshek (Anna Galecki) and Lois Long (Kevin); his wife Nicole; his children, Mason (Brett), Olivia and Madilynn; and his godparents, Lance Romanowski and Gail Lilla. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to help offset medical expenses incurred during Brett's illness.
