She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michalik and Alice Michalik (Houlette); her brothers, Walter and Edward (Edmund); her sister-in-law Susan; and her nephew Andrew Michalik.

She is survived by: her aunt Helen Kell; her niece Amy Michalik; her niece-in-law April Michalik; her great-nephews, Carter and Paden; her goddaughter Michele Donfris; and her close friend Shirley Meuret.
