He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Bauman and Alma Bauman (Leffel); his wife Viola Bauman; his in-laws, Henry and Viola Ress; his siblings, Arlyn Bauman and Donna Mae Strack; his brother-in-law William Ress Sr.; and his brothers, Harold (Mona Hansen), Ronald (Darlene Anderson) and Tony (Charlene Zychowicz).
He is survived by : his children, James Bauman, Jr. (Mary) of Mosinee, Dawn Bauman (Greg Nikolay) of Auburndale and Jill Vancour (Joe) of Spencer; his grandchildren, Dustin Kauffman (Jamie) of Auburndale, Brooke Kafka (Koltin) of Arpin, Dillon Bauman (Heather) of Stratford, Brittany Freund (Jordan) of Auburndale, Trevor Vancour (Hayley Scheppler) of Marshfield, Tanner Vancour (Erin Brooks) of Spencer and Cloey Vancour of Spencer; his siblings, Dennis Bauman of Biron and Barb Hardinger (Ken) of Beaver Dam; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Strack of Biron, Henry Ress (Lori) of Marshfield, Floyd Ress of Marshfield, Lloyd Ress (Ruth) of Marshfield and Betty Ress of Spencer. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
