Norman R. Layher Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman R. Layher of Mosinee, Wisconsin, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Layher and Anita Layher (Ross). He is survived by: his significant other Candy; his children, Amy Diaz, Heather Simonis (Russell) and Travis Layher; his grandchildren, Gavin Wilke, Kendra Diaz, Taylor Layher, Kevin Diaz, Hanna Layher, Drake Wilke, Evan Wilke, Noah Layher, Ella Layher and Charley Layher; his brothers, Ron Layher and Brian Layher; and his close friends, Henry Moeschler (Mary) and Randy Haupt (Sally).

We would also like to thank UW Organ and Tissue Donation, Madison WI, for their comfort and care as Norm saved a life through organ donation.
