In loving memory of Ron Cihlar (Mosinee, Wisconsin), who departed this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Ron leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cihlar and Delores Cihlar (Writz); his granddaughter Elizabeth Barttelt; and his cherished dachshund Woofer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Salawater; his son Gregg (Cora) of Mosinee; his stepchildren, Joshua Pingel of Phoenix, Arizona, Meredith Pingel-Gerrits (Joseph) of Kimberly, WI and Fawn Benzing (Brian) of Arlington, WI; his siblings, Jim Cihlar (Gin) of Wausau, WI, Sharon Thorpe (Roger) of Naples, FL and Karen Wirsbinski (Mike) of Kronenwetter; and his pet Vinny. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Saviors Polish National Catholic Church-Mosinee (804 Jackson St, Mosinee, WI 54455). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
