He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cihlar and Delores Cihlar (Writz); his granddaughter Elizabeth Barttelt; and his cherished dachshund Woofer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Salawater; his son Gregg (Cora) of Mosinee; his stepchildren, Joshua Pingel of Phoenix, Arizona, Meredith Pingel-Gerrits (Joseph) of Kimberly, WI and Fawn Benzing (Brian) of Arlington, WI; his siblings, Jim Cihlar (Gin) of Wausau, WI, Sharon Thorpe (Roger) of Naples, FL and Karen Wirsbinski (Mike) of Kronenwetter; and his pet Vinny. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
