He is survived by: his parents, Vic Piffl and Margie Piffl (Ziegler) of Waunakee, WI; his former wife Kathryn "Kathy" Chapin; his wife Kathryn Piffl of Mosinee, WI; his brother Don Piffl (Tina Braun) of Dane, WI; his in-laws, Dave, Tina Bowen and Helen Davis; his niece Sarah Biermann (Dawson) of Wentzville, MO; his nephew Brad Bowen; and his aunts and uncles, Hannah Hanson, Jeanette Howard and Riesa Mungor.
