David E. Schwoerer Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David E. Schwoerer of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schwoerer and Clara Schwoerer (Bindl); his brothers-in-law, Jerry Gericke and Dean Bertelrud; his nephew-in-law Tyler Hanson; and his great-niece Charliegh.

He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Gericke, Dennis Schwoerer (Rose), Glenn Schwoerer, Alice Bertelrud, Lois Herfel and Jane Dosch (Melvin); his siblings' children, Matthew, Shawn (Rich), Chris (Nicki), Dan (Sharon), Lindsay, Cortney, Casey (Michael), Leah (Ryan) and Hannah; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evan, Sophie, Brynliegh, Emberliegh, Molly, Clara and Andrew; and his close friend David Lange.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (109 S 6th St, Mt Horeb, WI 53572). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
