As we bid Donald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his father Doug McKenzie; his brother Douglas; and his grandfather Gerald Jacobson. He is survived by : his mother Eileen McKenzie; his wife Carolyn Fitzsimons; his daughters, Bree and Blythe; his sister-in-law Kay McKenzie; and his cousin Cheryl.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorgen-McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home (400 E Grace St, Dodgeville, WI 53533).
