He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hefty and Loretta Hefty (Haag); his great grandchild Ava Czyzewski; and his in-laws, Andy, Adella Buechner, Francis, Barbara, Lawrence Hefty, Warren Sailing, Richard Karn, Kendall Kiley, James, Leona, Betty, Pug, Judy, Jerome and Mary Virnig.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Deb Warren (Leo), Steve (Judy), Gary (Thea), Tom (Sue), Ron (Dulce) and Sandy Droster (Greg); his nephew Alan Virnig (Marcia); his grandchildren, Tim Warren (Krisa), Rob Warren (Lauren), Amy Czyzewski (Ryan), Chad Hefty (Janelle), Kayla Hefty, Lance Hefty (Alyssa Aschaker), Kristina Anderson (Tony), Cody Hefty, Brandi Hefty (Danny Vogt), Nate Hefty, Heidi Droster, Neil Droster and Karlei Droster; his siblings, Angeline Kiley, Marilyn Karn, Rita Sailing (Ron Reuter), Dianne Donlin (Joe) and Ken Hefty (Monica Boutelle); and his siblings-in-law, Peter Virnig (Joyce Little), Rosemary Ballweg (Dave) and Pat Hefty. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
