She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Rongland and Lorane Rongland; her sister Nancy Wahl (Dean); her niece Darlene Wahl; and her parents-in-law, Laurits and Valborg Bendtsen.
She is survived by: her husband David Bendtsen; her children, Shelli Tippett (Mike), Dan Bendtsen (Jeannie) and Sandra Christensen (Mike); her grandchildren, Aaron Bassindale (Anne), Sara Bassindale (Jesse Tidwell), Lia Bassindale, Meagan Tippett (Matt Richardson), Andrew Bendtsen (Ashley Hayes), Steven Bendtsen, Megan Christensen and Tyler Christensen; and her sister Dorothy Fitzgerald. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Sturino Funeral Home (3014 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI 53404). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
