We announce the death of Clemmie Winston (Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her mother Lennie Williford, Jr.; her husband James Winston; her siblings, Leonard Williford, Samuel Williford, Virginia Perry and Mattie Mae Williford; and her great grandchild JaMarey Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Washington (Wendall) of Jackson, Tennessee, Evelyn "Ann" Williams (late John Williams) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Arine "Lisa" Harrell (Kenneth) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Jeanette Winston Johnson of Deltona, Florida, Javail "Terry" Winston (Winkie) of Racine, Wisconsin. and James "Tony" Winston of Racine, Wisconsin.; her siblings, Fulton Bell, Jr. (Iris) of Racine, Wisconsin, Lennie Williford of Madison, Arkansas, John Williford of Madison, Arkansas, Jeanette Hutchinson (Alfred) of Madison, Arkansas, Gia Yeager, Thomas Williford (Michelle) of San Antonio, Texas, Marvin Williford of Rhode Island, Mary Mason of Marion and Johnny May Lewis; her close friends, Mary Matin and Joyce Streeter; Cleveland Corelius (Mary) of Racine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, church family, and dear friends.

Earlier in life, Clemmie also enjoyed fellowship and sisterhood as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, embracing its values of service, integrity, charity, and community.
