He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Davis and Violette Davis (Farrar); his wife Janet Herrbold; his brothers, Verne and Joel; his brother-in-law Hollis Lance; and his nephews, Anthony Davis and Danny Davis.

He is survived by : his siblings, Rita Lance, Aurelia "Nett" Janssen (Paul), Marsha Smith and Mitchell Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
