George A. Stahl Jr. Obituary
Of Mukwonago, was called home by his Lord and Savior on May 29, 2025 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kay Stahl (nee Ryman) of 54 years. Loving father of the late David Stahl, Gregory Stahl and Stephanie (Joe) Maurin; proud grandpa of Quin, Aleah, Chance, Colton, Grace and Ellie; sibling to Florence Ohrmundt, Gordon (Barbara) Stahl, Karen Dillaber and Larry Stahl. George is further survived by other relatives and many friends, and was preceded in death by his parents George and Alma Stahl.
George proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a devoted believer, attending Crossing Community Church in Genesee Depot. He loved camping trips, family picnics, was a railroad enthusiast and long-time member of the Soo Line Historical and Technical Society. At retirement, George was a partner in opening the Madison Hobby Stop where he enjoyed 11-years of promoting hobbies in the Madison area.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Crossing Community Church (S42W31230 WI-83 Genesee Depot) from 10:00 AM until the time of the Service at 12:00 NOON. Lunch will be provided before and after the service. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery with Military Honors.
