Joyce V. Hoover Obituary

Joyce V. Hoover was joyfully welcomed into Heaven on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the age of 79. Now reunited with her Lord and Savior, Joyce leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and countless stories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Joyce was a natural storyteller and loved nothing more than talking with family and friends. Whether she was sharing a memory, a bit of wisdom, or simply catching up, her voice and laughter filled every room. Conversation was her gift, and she made everyone feel known and welcome.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Kris (Brad) Cameron and David (Emily) Hoover; her treasured grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Monica, and Charles, who brought her endless joy; her siblings, Virginia Smith, Joanne Hoover, and William (Linda) Vollmer; her brother-in-law Franklin Hoover and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Smith and Margaret Hoover. She is further survived by many other relatives and dear friends who were blessed by her life.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Vollmer; her beloved husband, Bert; her son, Paul; her sister Carol (Virgil) Davis and her brother Butch Vollmer; her brothers-in-law John, James, Gerald and Richard Hoover, John Smith and her sister-in-law Betty Hoover. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and rejoicing in Heaven.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 12 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at St John's Lutheran Church, 410 W Veterans Way, Mukwonago.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to ProHealth Angels Grace Hospice and St John's are appreciated.
