It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David A. Henkel (Muskego, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Susan; his sons, Steven Henkel (Poppy Giron), Nicholas Henkel (Eileen) and Erik Henkel; his parents, Karen Henkel and Richard Henkel; his sibling Lynn Pettit (Philip); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Kalinowski (Louann), Barb Myszka (Jeff) and Eileen Falcone (Bob). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (S77W18426 Janesville Rd, Muskego, WI 53150). A reception was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church are appreciated. Keep David's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.

Kate Loos lit a candle

“I called cousin Dave in January. He shared being awake at night in his hospital room looking at the stars and feeling Gods presence with him. He was comforted and feeling peace. God called Dave home much sooner than expected. I know Dave had many plans for the summer, Dave did not want to leave his family at this time; he had to go. God must have wanted to protect Dave from something and brought him into the safety of his FOREVER home. See you when we are reunited in the Throne Room of Jesus.”
