He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gruber and Irene Gruber of West Allis; and his brother Frederick Gruber of Beaumont, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Gruber; his children, Jeff Gruber of Las Vegas, Jay Gruber (Marietta Pucillo) of South Milwaukee and Jodi Kristian (Bill) of Necedah; his granddaughters, Alexandra Gordan-Keolanui (Nevin) of Fond du Lac and Samantha Kristian (Joseph Pino) of San Diego; his nephew Gerel; and his niece Kat.
