He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Johnson and Blanche Johnson; his brother LeVerne Johnson; and his grandson Noah Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ann Johnson; his children, Carolyn Berlinski (Robert), Brian Johnson (Stacie) and Jennifer Trojan (David); his grandchildren, Ian Berlinski, Makenna Jarvis (Kenneth), Andrew, Megan, Kilei Johnson, Peyton Dent, Bryan Trojan (Sarah) and Andrea Trojan; and his great grandchildren, Hoyt Jarvis and Leo Trojan.
Memorials may be directed to Hales Corners Lutheran Church Foundation, Concordia Seminary St. Louis Scholarship Fund, and the Alzheimer's Association.
