He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schwartz and Agnes Schwartz (Hofferth); and his siblings, Harold, Gilbert, Jerome "Romie", Gerald "Jerry", Marie, Dorothy, Janice, Elizabeth "Betty" and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rose Plucker; his children, Deborah Moran (Roger), Cynthia Lago (David), Lyle Schwartz (Doris), Peggy Bortman (Dennis), Wendy Moran (Dennis), Todd Schwartz (Jacquelyn) and Sharon Wasielewski; and his sister Lucille "Pat". He is also survived by 17 grandchildren: 14 great-grandchildren: 2 great-great-grandchildren.
