He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter and Alvera Steen (Davis); his wife Jacqueline Steen (Pritchard); his parents-in-law, Jess and Lola Pritchard; his siblings, Doris Hayden (John), Lela Leikness (Robert "Moe"), Ellen Carter, Pete Steen, David Steen (Sandra) and Ronald Steen; and his siblings-in-law, Renee Suzda (Jim), Kathryn Penny (Richard) and Andrew Pritchard (Marge).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Steen of Necedah, WI and John Steen (Shelly Baum) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Daniel Zipperer (Jamie) of Mosinee, WI and Vanessa Zipperer of Necedah, WI; his siblings, Linda Wollschlager (Pete) of Necedah, WI and Bryan Steen (Holly) of Necedah, WI; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Steen of Necedah, WI, Jenny Steen of Necedah, WI and Yvonne Adrian of Rockledge, FL; and his close friend Jerilyn Ganther. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
