She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Howard and Eva Howard; her husband William Courneene; and her siblings, Arvid, Jack Reiter and Verna DuVall.

She is survived by : her daughters, Cindy Montgomery, Kathleen Ahee, Jeanne Courneene (Linda), Sandra Johnson (Pat) and Wendy Walton (John); and her grandchildren, Sarah Lauersdorf (Jon), Adrienne Nienow (Zach), Allison Luzwick (Nathan), Parker Ahee (Kyara), Samantha Beaupre (Austin), Patrick Montgomery, Carleigh Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Kendra Walton, Casey Walton and Eva Johnson. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Haley Station (1837 3rd Ave N, Escanaba, MI 49829).
