He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton and Frances (Kleman); his wife Ila (Harris); his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Lucille, Irene, Angeline, Anton, Daniel and Arthur.

He is survived by: his caregiver Carol; his sons, Dan (Jean) and Alan (Laurie); and his brother Ray (Diane). He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
