He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Brighum and Marietta Brighum; his sister Mary Jane; and his brother-in-law Les Getlinger. He is survived by : his wife Peggy (Breaker); his children, Jeff Brighum (Daphne), Dan Brighum (Amy) and Krissy Ely (Sean); and his in-laws, Dewey and Dorothy Breaker. He is also survived by 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren, Brother.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Garbriel Church (900 Geiger St, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
