With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan M. Below of Neenah, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Rooy and Mabel Van Rooy (Droske); and her children, Robert, Jayne and Sharon. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (620 Division St, Neenah, WI 54956). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
