She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Myrtle Smith (Skidmore); her granddaughter Hayley Ackerman; her siblings, Mary Kriha (John), Ray Smith (Eunice), John Smith (Pat), Phyllis Marvin (Jerry), Jim Smith (Lorraine), Bev DeHart (Jewett) and Robert Smith; and her close friend Robert Winkel.

She is survived by: her children, Jody Ackerman (Gloria) of Kaukauna, Mary Cowling (James) of Neenah and James Ackerman of Hortonville; her grandchildren, Benjamin Ackerman, Laura Pohlman (Christopher), Jim Cowling (Cymone), Erica Cowling, Derek Cowling (Jennifer) and Amanda Zehner (Adam); her great grandchildren, Rian, David Pohlman, Callie, Koda Cowling, Amelia Goffard, Jeremiah Cowling, Payton, Colton and Logan Zehner; her siblings, Larry Smith (Suzanne) of Pelican Lake and Judy Schmutzer (Terry) of Antigo; and her sister-in-law Bertha Smith (Robert Ackerman) of Two Rivers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
