He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila Ruge, and Martin Ruge, Sr.; his wife Lola Marquardt; and his sister Wanda. He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Mary), Paul (Margaret), Philip (Lori Ruge-Jones) and Andrew (Lisa MacVittie); his grandchildren, Timothy (Kate), Max (Elaine), Mia, Katherine, Luisa, Lucas (Alexis), Jacob and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Cole, Carson, Abigail and Delphina; and his sister Peggy Unger (Bob Justus).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (1013 Minnesota St, Oshkosh, WI 54901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
