He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlice Anklam (Caucutt) and Kenneth Anklam. He is survived by: his children, Aaron and Janey Anklam; his sisters, Luann Shanklin (Tom Lynch) and Sarah Hough (Ralph Hough); and his former wife Jody Anklam. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
