He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Andrew and Patricia Deopker (Scott); his grandchildren, Daniel and Haley Doepker; his sister Mary Conery (Dot); his in-laws, Janice Moen (Robert), Dr. Jane Jelinek (David), Judy Hildebrand (Wayne), James B. Schraufnagel (Jean), Jeffery Schraufnagel (Diane), John Schraufnagel (Denise), Jerry Schraufnagel (Lori), Joe (Heide) and Jay Schraufnagel (Jennifer); and his godsons, John Echeverria and Jayson Schraufnagel. He is also survived by his step-siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
