He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland O'Brien and Norma O'Brien; and his in-laws, Leon and Helen Hotynski. He is survived by: his son Randy Patrick O'Brien (Susie); his wife Wanda O'Brien; his grandchildren, McKayla and Kieran; his sister Kathy Mischler (Mark); his brothers-in-law, John Hotynski (Dianne) and Joe Hotynski (Susie); his nieces and nephews, Bryan Mischler (Peg), Scott Mischler (Christina), Jeremy Hotynski (Shauna), Katie Rass (Alex), Jessica Drews (Collin) and Becky Petterson (Tom); and his close friend Steve DeLeeuw (Peg).
Pat had a very deep passion for the fire department and after retirement he co-chaired an annual charity golf outing with the funds going to the Neenah Menasha Firefighters Charitable Foundation.
