He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lemke and Alma Lemke (Berge); his wife Neva Lynn Ball; his daughter Donna Appel; his sons-in-law, Robert Lippert and Gerald Kunde; and his sister Dorothy Ramich.

He is survived by: his children, Darlyn Lippert, Debra Kunde and Duane Lemke (Dalia); his grandchildren, Emily Nast (Brian), Ross Lippert, Stephen Appel (Heidi), Alexa Juzenas (Kevin), Jarah Kunde, Drew Lemke and Megan Lemke; his great grandchildren, Liam, Isaac, Paige and Bodhi; his siblings, Esther Hoffman, Lorraine Haber and Carl Lemke Jr. (Jennifer); and his daughter Jean Enderby.
