He is survived by: his wife Shirley Utschig; his son Richard Michalkiewicz (Tammy); his grandsons, Alex and Cody Michalkiewicz (Olivia); his sisters, Dolores Losselyong and Carol Plach (Larry); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Schaefer (Cathy) and Tom Utschig (Emily). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
