He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Casey; his parents-in-law, Robert and Charlotte; and his nephew Tony. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Casey; his wife Jean Louise Barina; his children, Andria (Jake), Sam (Cori) and Kelly (Kingsley); his grandson James; his siblings, John (Mary Shaun) and Mary Jean (Todd); and his siblings-in-law, Sue (Al), Sally (Dene) and Tom (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the International Association for Refugees (IAFR), where a former teacher of Steve's children serves forcibly displaced people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
