He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Zellmer and Marion Zellmer (Homan); his in-laws, Dolores and Emil Bethke; his siblings-in-law, David Kramer, Aggie Bethke and Judy Bethke; and his nephew Joshua Kramer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bethke; his children, August of Greenfield, WI, Eben of Appleton, WI and Gretta Grace of Milwaukee, WI.; his siblings, Susan Vernon, Roger Zellmer (Theresa Schuh) and Mary Kay Hale (Courtney); and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Kramer, Al Bethke and Byron Bethke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
