He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Flaherty and Mary Flaherty (O'Brien); his siblings-in-law, Larry Richardson (Barb), Jack Richardson, Hutch Richardson and Kathy Richardson; and his sibling's children, Sean Maher, Mary Warnke (Richardson) and Bridget Lee (Maher).
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his grandchildren, Kevin, Anne, Mary Kate, Patrick, Timothy, John, Catherine, Jim, Killian (Emily), Callaghan, Macartan and Daniel; and his sister Alice Maher (Flaherty).
