She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father Clyde Purkis; her husband Michael Mitte; her children, Scott Bryant, Jerry Bryant (Heidi), Jake Mitte (Erin) and Michelle Friemoth (Kyle); her mother Eleanor Moeller (Hainzlsperger); her siblings, Sharon Erickson (Roger), Edward Purkis (Joan), Jerry Purkis (Cheryl), Rose Zawislan (Dale), Tina Metcalfe (Daryl), Mike Purkis (Cheri) and Bonnie Purkis; and her daughter Lorie Bryant. She was also cherished by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (N6455 County Highway G, Neillsville, WI 54456). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the West Weston Cemetery.
