He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Baer and Florence Baer (Reinhard); and his brothers, John and Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Baer (Linda) and Patty Delaney (Dennis); his children, Patricia and Ryan (Karen); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Logan; and his pet Charlie.
