He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dawes and Marjorie Dawes; and his brothers-in-law, Lance Ruble and Ron May. He is survived by: his wife Barbara May-Dawes; his siblings, George Dawes (Carol) of Sun Prairie, WI, John Dawes (Patty) of La Crosse, WI, Sue Ruble of La Crosse, Kris Bernhardt (Joe) of La Crosse and Jerry; and his sister-in-law Sue May of Nekoosa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
