He is survived by: his significant other Kelly Czappa; his children, Misty Hurd, Nichole Hurd (Jorden), Jacque Freund (Austin), Melissa Ellingson (Todd), Matthew Czappa, Katie Czappa and Christopher Hafermann (Kelly); his grandchildren, Allie (Eric), Autumn (Nick), Nadia, Mason, Corbyn, Blake, Austin, Hansi, Bri, Kienan, Clay, Haleigh, Jax, Bailey, Ashton and Reece; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Nova and Charli.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Switched Banquet Hall (2609 WI-73, Nekoosa, WI 54457).
