She was predeceased by: her mother Arlene Baier (Lombardo); her son David Baier; and her grandson Everett Hintz. She is survived by: her father David Baier; her children, Michael Hegeman and Bryana Hegeman (Luke Hintz); her grandchildren, Makayla, Ezra, Eliza and Emmett; her sisters, Joyce Aiello (Brian), Gina Freisleben (Joe) and Angie Scheuber (Scott); and her close friend Rhonda Ferkey.
