He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cox and Anita Cox (Sershon); and his brothers, Bob and Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Samm; his children, Sean Cox (Yolanda), Brett Cox, Todd Cox (Danielle), Linda Webster (Bob), Melody Warsinske (Jeff) and Kris Krings (Kym); his grandchildren, Bobbie Webster (Rob), Meagan Benz (Casey), Holly Huntamer (David), Lindsay Fehrenbach (Justin), Jeb Warsinske (Reagan), Jake Warsinske (Kelly), Amanda Cox, MacKenzie Cox (Caleb), Tyler Cox (Kelsey), Jeremy Cox, Peyton Cox and Delaney Cox; and his sister-in-law Mary Cox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fighting from Start to Finish Foundation, a nonprofit founded by his granddaughter and her husband after his own battle with cancer.
