It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Beggs (Nekoosa, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Beggs and Evalyn Beggs (Filla); his parents-in-law, Ronald and Marian Murray; and his nephews, Ryan and Christopher Poehling.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lyon; his children, Robert (Ronda) of Fitchburg, WI and Sarah Baumann (Dan) of Eau Claire, WI.; his granddaughters, Allison, Amanda, Ava Beggs, Elizabeth (Michael Fuss), Katherine and Abigail Baumann; and his sister-in-law Sandra Poehling of La Crosse, WI..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (711 Prospect Ave, Nekoosa, WI 54457). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
