He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Elsie Thomas (Worland); and his siblings, John Thomas, Michael Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Susan Parrish and Janie Balentine.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Thomas; his daughter Kelly Fulcer (Aaron); his grandson Ian Carter; and his siblings, Mary Gaddis (Fred), Terry Thomas (Marlene) and Robert Thomas.
