With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Kolo of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Wayne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wayne has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kolo and Dorothy Kolo (Rokus); and his brother Don Kolo. He is survived by: his wife Leanne Smith; his children, Shawn Kolo of Hartford, WI and Erica Sherman (Aaron); his grandchildren, Alexa and Ian Sherman of Wisconsin Rapids; his siblings, Carol Krubsack (Paul) of Rice Lake and Jack Kolo (Michelle) of Hartland; and his aunt Marlene Herzberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
